Enter to win! Each month, Basajaun's Warren will choose one lucky winner to receive the prize: a stuffed Basajaun mini rabbit, a $25 donation made by Basajaun's Warren to the Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary in the winning rabbit's name, and the honorary title of Basajaun's 'Head Footman' for your rabbit! A new winner will be chosen each month for all of 2010!

ALL entrants' rabbits receive a profile page on the Basajaun's Warren website! If you are a multiple-rabbit owner, feel free to enter each of your rabbits. You will only be eligible to win once, but each of your rabbits will receive a Basajaun's Warren profile page.

To enter, please email the following for your rabbit (or for each of your rabbits):

1.) One photo of your rabbit.

2.) Your rabbit's:
----Name
----Date of birth or age (if known, or closest estimation)
----Breed (if known)
----Gender
----Your home state (or province) and country.

3.) Create a 'Warren name' for your rabbit-- something that sounds like a fantastical animal name from the Basajaun universe. Some examples are: Basajaun, Artulyn, Boxy, Rutai, Bandel and Haanlea (don't use any of those however, since they are already taken! ;) Have fun and be creative! If you would prefer not to create your rabbit's warren name, one will be created for you.

4.) Chose a station for your rabbit-- one that fits your rabbit best! In the Basajaun universe, rabbits fill different stations based on their skills. Select the one of the following four stations based on what sounds like your rabbit's personality:

----Does your rabbit like to jump around and perform for your amusement? Then he or she may be an artisan / entertainer
----Is your rabbit tough, bossy and generally an 'alpha rabbit'? Then he or she may be a soldier / fighter
----Is your rabbit thoughtful, quiet and 'contemplative'? Then he or she may be a researcher / planner
----Does your rabbit love to explore or race around the house? Then he or she may be an explorer / messenger

If you would prefer not to choose a station for your rabbit, one will be selected for you.

5.) Email your entry (photo and text) to rosemary@rosemaryvandeuren.com. Winners will be chosen based on the rabbit photo, using a combined criteria of cuteness or handsomeness, 'regal'ness, and quality and creativeness of photography. Pictures will be posted 1 - 2 months following submission. For instance, if you send your picture in April, it will appear on the site in either May or June. One winner will be selected each month.
